SameDaySap™ begins in the Hudson Valley, where Henrietta and Reginald Akpata restored a 25.02-acre farm of 400-year-old maples in 2022. Studying Indigenous uses of maple sap, Reginald paired that heritage with modern cold-chain technology. Five seasons later, every bottle is tapped and bottled the same day. Never sweetened. Pure sap, straight from our trees and trees on neighboring Hudson Valley farms, to your table.

Long before SameDaySap™ was bottled, maple sap was life. The Algonquin and Iroquois peoples had been harvesting maple sap for centuries — using it as a hydrating drink and a medicinal resource, passed down through generations as essential knowledge of the natural world. We approach this tradition with deep respect and gratitude.
